National Distracted Driving Awareness Month

April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. This year,  the United States Department of Transportation combined with local law enforcements and  launched the first-ever national advertising campaign to combat distracted driving. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates that 3,328 people were killed and 421,000 were injured in distraction-related crashes in 2012.
